Here's what I've been doing.

After highschool I moved to Livingston Montana (summer 00). I began working for a raft rental, and retail company, Rubber Ducky River Rentals(RDRR). In the fall of that year I starting working nights at the local grocery store. The next summer I did both jobs; grocery, and rentals. In October of 01 I moved to Albany Oregon, where I had hopes of going to college. I dropped out of college in January of 02, but continued living in Albany until early June.

Albany is a tough place. Most of my writing, that made this website famous, came from the time I was in Albany. I worked at Top Value Market during the winter months of 01/02, and there I learned much about the conditions in which poverty stricken people live. I was well below the poverty level myself at the time, and am still so today, although my living conditions have become much better with age. In June of 02 I headed out once again to Montana. I would work a third summer for RDRR. I had decided to settle in Livingston MT, and rented a nice apartment downtown in which to dwell.

After the summer of 02, I stumbled into a job, given to me by my friend. It was clerk work in a gas station, but the people of Montana pump their own gas, so it was easy. This gas station had in it a bar, casino, and restaurant. Eventually I moved to a bartender job and did that until June of 03. I spent that summer in Livingston working at RDRR. I recieved a call from my dad late that summer and he told me he had bought a commercial fishing boat and was planning on working it off the Oregon coast. He offered me a job as a deckhand and before I new it, I was in the worst place I've ever been. Newport Oregon, fall of 03, working as a fisherman. A real eye opener.

I spent that winter not working at all, and living with my mom, in Portland Oregon. It sucked not having a job; so when March 04 rolled around I found myself back on the Pacific ocean. Come May, I was running to Montana to get away from that job. It was too early to work at RDRR in May, so I went to work on the Snowy Range Ranch; I cut down trees, and coiled barbed wire. The weather quickly changed a few weeks after taking the ranch job and I was back at Rubber Ducky for my fifth summer none to soon. I also contracted as a guide with the Marlboro Ranch that summer; it was a nice place to work.

In the fall of 04 I moved to Portland OR. where I got a job and a place real quick and settled in for the winter. I worked nights in a grocery store. Pretty soon though my paychecks couldn't cover my rent, and I found myself at mom's house again. Her house was actually pretty close to my work, and there I stayed until April of 05. Right before summer I went on a cross country road trip, and got to see a lot of the southern US. I found myself shortly there after in Livingston poised for another summer of work.

After working at RDRR during the summer of 05, I was lucky enough to have my brother invite me to live in his home for the winter. I took a long vacation that winter, and was planning to go back to work for my father in March of 06. Due to government cutbacks on the fishing season though I had to find a job in Bellevue WA instead. Bellevue is where my brother lives and where I worked as a cashier from March 1st through the middle of May 2006.

Last summer marked my seventh as an employee of Rubber Ducky River Rentals. As soon as my obligations were met in Montana I moved back to Bellevue, and that is where I find myself now.
